Your university. Your accomplishments. Our Timeline.

Welcome to our Alumni Timeline – the place where our alumni can share their accomplishments, updates and everything in between with their past classmates. Whether you’ve just achieved a significant professional milestone or created transformational change within your community, we want to hear all about it – and how Huron helped you get there. We know how amazing our school is, and what makes it so exceptional are the people a part of its rich history. So, let’s show off our awesome community and create an Alumni Timeline we can all be proud of.

Don Melady, BA’81

Liberal Arts

Since graduating from Huron in 1981, Don has continued to give back to the Huron community. In 2004 on the occasion of their marriage Don and his partner, Mr. Rowley Mossop, established The Dr. Don Melady and Mr. Rowley Mossop Diversity Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a fourth-year student whose career at Huron has been marked by a conspicuous dedication to the value of openness, the acceptance of difference, and the promotion of diversity in Canadian society. Don is truly a leader with heart, having worked as a staff Emergency Physician for 25 years, both in community hospitals and currently at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto.
