Faithful Innovation: Discovering a Hopeful Future with The Rev’d Dr. Dwight Zscheile
Friday, May 28 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. & 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 29 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
In this time of disruption, grief, change, and opportunity, the church must both deepen its roots and learn new ways of connecting with people to address their longings and losses. Faithful Innovation is the process of learning new ways to embody Christian identity and purpose in a changing cultural context. It is about adopting practices and habits that allow the treasures of Christian tradition to speak afresh today. Often, it involves the rediscovery of ancient spiritual practices as much as the embrace of new technologies.
This learning opportunity will provide biblical and theological reflection, concrete practices, hands-on methods, and inspiring real-life examples to help leaders learn how to cultivate faithful innovation in their contexts.
Cost: $100 for clergy, $25 for lay leaders, per clinic. Free for students.
