Marketing Toolkit

Huron is redefining the way Liberal Arts education is being delivered in Canada. A huge part of our ability to do this is our interactions with our community because people, and these important relationships, are at the heart of everything we do.

As a strategically-small institution, our faculty and staff are easily accessible – and that’s definitely true when it comes to our Marketing Communications department. Whether you’re an international student who wants to share about their new life in Canada or you want to promote a student-run activity or event, shoot us an email or drop in anytime to share your news with Huron.

Want to know what’s going on at Huron? Check back regularly or give us a shout to find out what’s happening on campus!

Host & Promote an Event

Whether you’re a student, one of our esteemed alumni or a faculty or staff member, we want to support you to host and promote your Huron event. In order to do so, we ask you give us the heads up a month out from your event. That way, we can make sure you have everything you need – from promotional resources, including branded templates, to day-of support such as photography.

We look forward to working with you, so don’t be shy and reach out to our Marketing Communications team today!

Media Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide the media with valuable reference information about qualified faculty and staff aptly able to comment on a variety of subjects and situations.

Why choose a Huron faculty member for commentary? Huron offers a number of unique programs, particularly in the areas of international and religious studies. Many of its faculty are multilingual, with fluency in Chinese, Japanese, French, Finnish, and Swahili to name a few. Further, Huron has a strong commitment to volunteerism, international outreach and international exchange programs.

Please use Huron’s Media Guide to find the correct person to contact for your inquiries.

Show Your Colours

Show your colours; Huron uses three main colours to represent itself – red, grey and black. In order to build the Huron brand these colours, which have a specific shade, should be used whenever possible.
