I moved from Guyana, South America to study at Huron. After graduation, I settled in the UK, where I studied law. Since then, I have held a number of legal research positions in both public and private international law. I was recently awarded a UK Economic and Social Research Council scholarship to do a law PhD at the University of Kent on environmental justice for waste pickers – a passion I developed at Huron. I am currently learning Portuguese in order to carry out fieldwork in Brazil.
