The study of English includes all areas of literature written in English, including British, Canadian, American and Commonwealth/Postcolonial literatures. It also includes the study of theory, including cultural theory.
Students who choose to study English at Huron have the benefit of learning in small classes with accessible professors who are dedicated and know their specific areas of study well. Students will then benefit from this learning method by developing a good writing style for future employment and good communication skills essential in today's job market.
